Guy has over 35 years of experience on a variety of architectural projects with a specialization over the last 16 years in educational facilities. He is an expert in educational learning models, educational planning, phased occupied construction, theater design and career technology education planning (CTE). As a K-12 educational planning specialist, he has been a lead designer, principal in charge or project manager on 10 high schools, three middle schools, and seven elementary schools. Guy’s designs feature the latest in educational thinking. He is a former Board member of the Council of Educational Facility Planners International; he currently chairs the Washington State CEFPI “School of the Future” program. He is also a member of the AIA Committee on Architecture for Education. Guy holds Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign.
