Steven M. Shiver, FAIA, LEED AP
Principal
As architects, we not only have an opportunity to change our environment through carefully crafted design, we have an opportunity to influence the way people think and live. We have a responsibility to learn more ourselves and use that knowledge to better serve our clients by offering them a wealth of possibilities of which they could not have dreamed.

Since joining NAC Architecture in 1990, Steve has managed the design and construction of more than $500 million in public projects. He is an international leader in the research and implementation of pedagogical programs that empower students and staff to use their school settings as inspiring tools for teaching and learning. His projects have garnered multiple state, national, and international awards and include numerous projects certified by sustainable rating systems including LEED, Washington Sustainable Schools Protocol (WSSP) and Energy Star. In recognition of his leadership, Steve was inducted into the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows in 2015. Steve holds Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design degrees from the University of Idaho.
