Donna Barry

Donna is an award-winning designer focused on higher education. Her work spans more than 2.3 million square feet and $1.1 billion in facilities that include mixed use, academic, science, student housing and performing arts spaces. With over 30 years in the field of architecture, her superpower is blending creative design with rigorous problem-solving. She excels at uniting cross-disciplinary teams to identify risks, reconcile costs, and champion designs that advance both institutional identity and student success. Donna’s passion for design is contagious, and her collaborative, people-centered approach ensures each project reflects the unique culture and values of its community.

Her expertise is rooted in a strong academic foundation: Donna earned both her Master of Architecture (specializing in Architecture and Urban Planning) and her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and she studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France.

We design today for people that may not even be born yet.... that is magical.
