NAC Inc — Spokane, WA • Los Angeles, CA • Seattle, WA • Idaho • Ohio — (509) 838-8240 — info@nacarchitecture.com
Introduction
NAC Inc (“NAC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a national architecture firm with offices in Spokane, Washington; Los Angeles, California; Seattle, Washington; Idaho; and Ohio. We are committed to handling personal information responsibly and transparently, and to complying with applicable privacy laws across all states in which we operate. This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information gathered through our website and other interactions with our firm. It applies to all NAC-owned websites and domains, our wholly owned subsidiaries, and all digital communications with NAC, including employment applications and contact form submissions made through this site.
By using this website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to operate our website, communicate with prospective clients and staff, and comply with legal obligations. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account data, health information, precise geolocation, or biometric data.
The categories of personal information we collect include:
- Identifiers (name, email address, IP address) — collected directly from you or automatically via the website. Used for business operations and communications. Shared with Mailchimp for email distribution. Not sold.
- Contact form submissions (name, email address, and any information you choose to include in your message) — collected when you voluntarily submit an inquiry through our website. Used solely to respond to your inquiry. Delivered to our internal email inbox and not shared with third parties except as required by law. Not sold. We may in the future use a customer relationship management platform to manage these inquiries, and this Policy will be updated if that occurs.
- Employment information (resume, work history, references) — collected directly from you via job application. Used to evaluate candidates. Shared with Paylocity, our applicant tracking platform. Not sold.
- Website activity (pages visited, session duration, browser type) — collected automatically via Google Analytics cookies. Used to improve website performance. Shared with Google Analytics. Not sold for money; sharing with Google Analytics may constitute “sharing” under California law — see the Disclosure section below.
Cookie Policy
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit our website. We use two types:
- Strictly necessary cookies are required for basic website functionality. They cannot be turned off without affecting how the site works.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) collect anonymous, aggregated data about how visitors use the site. IP addresses are truncated. These cookies are optional and you may opt out at any time without losing access to any part of this website.
LinkedIn Insight Tag
NAC Inc does not currently use the LinkedIn Insight Tag and has never installed it on this website. This tag is used by companies that advertise on LinkedIn to enable conversion tracking and retargeting. NAC does not engage in LinkedIn advertising and this tag is not present on our site. If this changes in the future, this Policy will be updated prior to any installation and an appropriate consent mechanism will be implemented. LinkedIn members may proactively manage LinkedIn’s retargeting settings at linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.
Your Cookie Choices
You may opt out of analytics cookies at any time using any of the following methods:
- Google Analytics Opt-Out: Install the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their privacy settings.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): We honor the GPC signal as a valid opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information under California law. If your browser transmits a GPC signal, we treat it as an automatic opt-out request.
Our website does not respond to browser-level Do Not Track (DNT) signals, as no consistent technical standard has been established. We recommend Global Privacy Control as the most reliable opt-out method.
How We Use Your Information
We use personal information only for the following purposes:
- To operate and improve our website and professional services across all NAC office locations
- To respond to inquiries and contact form submissions about our architecture services
- To evaluate employment applications and communicate with candidates
- To send newsletters and service updates to individuals who have requested them
- To comply with applicable federal, state, and local legal obligations, including court orders, subpoenas, and regulatory requirements such as EEOC reporting
- To protect the rights, property, and safety of NAC, our users, and the public
- To facilitate business transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales
We do not build advertising profiles from your personal information and we do not sell personal information for monetary compensation.
Disclosure & Sharing of Personal Information
We share personal information only with the following third parties:
- Google Analytics — anonymous browsing data for website performance analysis. Opt-out available as described in the Cookie Policy above.
- Mailchimp — subscriber names and email addresses for newsletter distribution only. See Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy.
- Paylocity — employment application data for applicant tracking and candidate evaluation.
- Legal and regulatory bodies — when required by law, court order, subpoena, or other legal process, including obligations arising in any state where NAC operates.
- Business successors — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of NAC Inc, personal information may be transferred as a business asset.
We may in the future use additional email distribution or marketing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Microsoft platforms to communicate with clients and contacts. If and when we adopt any such platform, this Policy will be updated to identify them, describe what information is shared, and explain any relevant opt-out rights before use begins.
California Notice — Do Not Sell or Share
NAC does not sell personal information for money. Our use of Google Analytics may constitute “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). California residents have the right to opt out of this sharing by using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, sending a Global Privacy Control signal, or emailing info@nacarchitecture.com with the subject line “CCPA Opt-Out Request.”
California Shine the Light (Civil Code § 1798.83)
NAC does not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. California residents may request confirmation of this once per calendar year by contacting us at the address below.
Other State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain other states where NAC operates, including Washington, Ohio, and Idaho, may have additional privacy rights under applicable state law. We extend the same core rights described in this Policy — the right to know, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — to all individuals who interact with our website, regardless of location. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to meet our legal obligations.
- Website analytics: 26 months (Google Analytics default). Deletable upon verified request.
- Contact form submissions: Retained in email for as long as the inquiry remains active or relevant to an ongoing business relationship, then deleted.

- Business contacts: Until the contact requests removal or the relationship ends.

Information Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. These include HTTPS encryption for data transmitted to and from this website, access controls limiting data to authorized personnel, and contractual security requirements for third-party vendors. We do not store individually identifiable personal information on our web server. No method of electronic transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities as required by applicable federal and state law.
